EZ FLASH VI CHEAT PROBLEM?

    Hi I just got my EZ FLASH Vi card and got version 2.0 rc8 on it I made the folder call CHT and put the ezarcode.dat file from http://cheats.gbatemp.net/ in it, but when I turn on my ds and turn on the cheats it says press y to open cheat window but when I press y nothing happens? someone please help.
