Does anyone know if the EZ-Flash 3 in 1 will work on the Gamecube's Gameboy Player adapter? For if it does work on it I'm going to get one.

So far the answers I've received has been yes, it does work so now I've got another question.

    Question(s) that came up:

What cartridge that allows you to play GBA games on the GBA will most likely work on the Gamecube?

Which size of the EZ-Flash 3 in 1 will fit inside the Gameboy player?
(I think the DS version should work fine right? Since on the Gameboy player the regular GBA games fit right in and they are the same size as the EZ-Flash 3 in 1.)

If you use a DS to flash a GBA game into the NOR memory on the EZFlash, then you can play it just like a real GBA card from the DS Slot 2, or from a GBA.
I believe it should work on the Gamecube as well then. I have one, but haven't tried it. Maybe I should one day.

But it's not the best way to go about doing it. The EZFlash 3 in 1 is made to be used with a Slot 1 card on the DS. There are other GBA flashcarts designed to play on the GBA which can hold multiple games, similar to a Slot 1 card for the DS. I know they exist, but I don't know which ones are good or bad, etc.

Ah I see seems like the EZFlash 3 in 1 is the best GBA cartridge though but I just want one that is specific to work on the Gamecube like you mentioned. Now I guess all I want to know at this point it which ones? Unfortunately you do not know either but we'll figure out together and thanks for the help. ;)

I think the EZFlash team made good GBA Flashcarts before the DS was popular or even around.

Check out the GBA cards on Deal Extreme.

They seem a bit more expensive, probably cause they aren't as popular these days.

I'll check these out and see what's the best or most likely one to work on the Gamecube. Thanks for the sources.

    It COULD work.

But only one game at a time.

When you play via ds, the slot one transfers data to the slot 2.

Said data remains until it's cleared.

I tried mine (ds version-not dslite) on an original gba-it worked.

It might work on a gameboy player-so just get one game you like, load it up (or play it then when done remove the card afterwards) and then ram it home.

The save data will also transfer-so if you use it in tandem with the slot 1 card it'll keep all progress from other uses :)

(but if you swap games constantly-then you may find you can only play the last loaded game on the gb player.)
