External Email Clients

    OK well ive been using Outlook for ages, and its pretty heavy and slow and a real b***h to deal with so ive decided to give Thunderbird a go (hopefully it lives up to something close to firefox :p).

    How many of you use external email clients and can you recommend me the best one? Outlook eats my PC and slows it down something chronic.

    outlook express is a lot better than outlook, which can't handle IMAP servers properly. My parents use thunderbird and it does the job well.

    I've been using Thunderbird for a couple of years now and am quite happy with it.

    I use Thunderbird to manage all my porn subscriptions. Whatever you do, don't use the Outlook that comes with Microsoft Office 2007, it'll eat you alive.

    now i know why my spam folder was increasing exponentially per second.

    yeah thats what I was using lol, Thunderbird is great, email and RSS in one :)
