    Hey y'all,

Feels like the right place to ask, knowing there are a lot of programmers out here. My question is: How do you expand the screen size of an emulator, such as no$gba? I'm a bit tired of playing on a screen the literal size of a DS on a PC, when I could potentially expand it bigger and avoid losing my eyesight? :D

I am currently using No$GBA. If possible to increase screen size on it, please give me a solution to it. If not possible, could you refer me to an emulator that will fit my needs?

I'm sure many of you are not troubled by the size of the screen, ergo, you play on. But, I don't want to have to change contact strengths every year, or go take drastic measures. Thanks in advance.

No$GBA cannot be expanded. With other emulators, it depends on the emulator. expanding the size also reduces performance, unfortunately. Have you tried using microsoft magnifier, or seeing if your graphics driver has a zoom function?

Thanks for the idea, but besides using MS Magnifier. It's annoying having to go thru Properties and fixing size. Magnifier pisses me off.

Anyone else have ideas? How are y'all faring from using your emulators?

Oh the Same, atleast the no$gba 2.6a, no$gba2x add on can give me twice the screen size, still small though, hope they release a x3 or x4 screen increase though, 'Cause my eyes get tired easily from playing to long on x2

like the south park ninja sig u got there, cahos!

yeah, well, at least with the idea from loony, i do have a separate magnification button config by the laptop's manufacturer, Toshiba. It's given me a good size to view.

But, I hope I've brought out an important issue for emulator creators to think about.

That would make the DS games look terrible, if you use 2.6x, don't use it with high performance NDS games as it will make it crash. You will need a moderate amount of RAM as well.
