    You can't get better than loony's motherboard (unless you're willing to pay an insane amount of money just to make me feel bad). :p

    you can, but not for less than what I paid for mine. Tyan make four-way boards (4 quad core processors)

    Foxconn actually make a lot of stuff, but usually it has someone else's name on it.

    The iPhone is actually made by Foxconn, not Apple.

    you have a tyan?! do they make consumer motherboards now?! back then during the pentium 3 [athlon xp] years, tyan used to be one of the best boards but i don't know if they decided to ditch consumer products and went server based boards only.

    who said it's a consumer board? and besides, I have two tyan boards. My other one is a two-way socket A.

    tyans are widely used in the server/high performance markets. They are one of the best manufacturers in said market.
