what are the chances of some one on this site or any other rom site getting cough by the ESA or some other anti-Piracy organization?

Yes, I think even if you renamed the ROMs/ISOs you got from here & hosted them on your site, the Admins can tell if it came from here because they would have some "coding features" that will label their games & unless you know how to get by these then you won't succeed in what you're thinking

Just quit with the crazy idea ;D

yah but im not starting any rom site right now because 1 i dont have any money nor do i have that good of web site building skills yet and 2 my mom wont let me :'(

 

I suggest you learn a decent amount in design/ HTML before starting ANY site.... Not to mention the time and devotion it takes to keep it going.

 

hmm, I've been curious for a while...where exactly do you get SO many roms/isos?
I mean it would take forever for it to be done by one person, so even the mighty seph couldn't do it alone (if he does it)
I understand if you cannot divulge trade secrets XD

 

i have ask him where he gets his roms and he wont tell he says its a privet place :-[

My theory is he doesn't get it from a "place", he probably has a few friends online that help him rip the games.
hes probably a part of a hacker group or something (I can't remember any of them anymore).

 

Why make a rival site when we already have the best romsite in the world? ;D
