error pokemon white/black please help

and i am having trouble getting pokemon white and black to work
when loaded they just make a white screen
i tried upgrading the data and following http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=43121.0 by:iluvfupaburgers, but even YSMenu makes an error
at choosing YSMenu.nds i get an error that is:
Yasu software - YSMenu

it works for me, but i'm using a regular R4.

also backup your SD card before you do so.

So I've gotten wood r4 to work it just I'snt allowing me to select games...

yeah its a .nds file, if i dont go into wood r4 then i can play some games but not white or black which is what i really want to play

 

Where did you pick up the ROM? Because I'm using Wood R4 with a patched version of Pokemon White and it's been running smoothly for me.

 

I tried for 3 days to put Pokémon White and Golden Sun to work .. Today I tried this http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=43121.0 - TTMenu and managed to do that.
With pokemon white, rom, patched from piratebay.
