error code while running cso

while i was running crystal defenders as soon as it started it gave me an error message that the game could not be played
also i created the cso with UMDGEN

 

Could you write down what the error code is?

Which CFW & PSP are you using?
Where did you place the .cso file?

 

im using 5.50 GEN-D and a 2000 psp
i placed it in the iso folder

 

Try decompress it back to .iso using PSP ISO Compressor.
and check whether your PSP UMD Mode is running on M33 driver or Sony NP9660.
Also, update your current firmware to Prometheus-3 v4.

 

i have no idea how to update or compress because when my psp got repaired it also got a new screen,new paint ,new buttons, and custom firmware

 

Follow this tutorial on how to decompress, and this on how to update your firmware to Prometheus.
but test whether decompress (.iso) work or not before updating your firmware.
