errcode=-5 help

Anyone know why I got this error message on ysmenu? load errcode=-5 I'm using r4sdhc and was trying to play the new fire emblem game.

 

probably the AP is kicking in, do you have the latest fixes for ysmenu to run the newest games?

is the fire emblem you download a clean rom, where did you download it. because in the compatible. download the rom from here

Then, sorry to say, but it sounds like you're screwed.

 

Either two options hear,

1. Try a fresh r4patch.dat in the ttmenu folder

2. Are decrypt the rom as it might have bean encrypted

Get the original r4patch.dat from this file

From the r4patch.dat original folder, It tends to fix errcode=-5 some-times

Replace it with the one from the ttmenu folder of ysmenu

 

but im using r4 sdhc not an original

 

Its just the r4patch.dat , Try replceing it anyway and if it don't work just replace it with the one from your firmware

 

ah had the same problem. keep a backup of a game in your R4 then delete it. yeah kinda weird but it worked for me and a lot of others

 

what do u mean by that, im kinda confused about it sorry

 

your R4 is reading an error in your SD and thinks it doesn't have enough space to make a save file. deleting a game on it will make it work OR you can do a fresh format. since you don't want to go through THAT then just do what I say and everything will be alright
