ePSXe Save button is grey.

    Hello,

    I am using ePSXe 1.9.4 and i was playing chrono cross, i was playing about 2 hours and then i realised that i could not save... The button that sais "Save" is grey and in the end my computer died and I had to restart.. So i downloaded FF7 and the same problem exists. I can't click the "Save" button in any game i download.

    I tried to replace mem files and change path but mem cards are simply not working as supposed.
    I'm a noob with these kind of things and is wondering if anybody could help me?¨

    you might need to set up the memory card feature....or you can use save states.

    Did you make sure to go to a save point or the world map BEFORE you try to save your game? JRPGs like the ones Square-Enix makes often require you to first find a save location or go to the world map before you can save your game.

    Just pointing this out since you did say you were new at this.
