will ePSXe work on the mac? I just got a macbook for college, and I was just wondering if this emulator will work for the mac, and if not, what emulator would? Also, will something like winRAR work for the mac?

ePSXe does not work for Mac, but I was looking around and found an emulator called Flarestorm that is apparently for both Windows and Mac.

As for WinRAR, I'm pretty sure it doesn't work for Macs either. I don't own a Mac, but if I remember what my roommate said correctly it should come with a program on it called StuffIt Expander or something like that which should work, but I could be wrong about that.

Yes, Stuffit Expander is a default program on a Mac computer. Most anyway.

so I just downloaded this, and everytime I try to open it, it says that there is an error and it asks me to relaunch, I relaunch and it says there is another error. Im fairly noobish when it comes to emulators, and especially this one, so does anyone know how this works, do I need the game downloaded before I can open the emulator?

Probably this emulator is a bit buggy, you can try to find another one, but don't expect to find any good PSX emulator for a Mac. No, you don't need a ISO downloaded, you should still be able to open up the emulator and configure it and whatnot.
