Epsxe 170 vs Resident Evil 2

So I've got the Resident Evil 2 for psx, well, I've always used the epsxe 170 to emulate psx roms on it, but when I play RE 2, the game crashes in random points, some cutscenes don't have the voice of characters.
Yes I've heard about savin' all the time to avoid get stuck in a crash point, but savin' al the time is so borin'.
So I wanna see if you comrades can help me out with this problem.

 

It's a difficult game to emulate. I tried numerous different combinations, and while I never had it crash, it always had various missing audio and sometimes textures.

You might have to play around with various plugins and settings. If you haven't, download the plugin pack available in the sticky topic.
