Ok so I'm having this prob with tekken 3, where the game goes on a black screen and locks up, this after the ending sequence to each character while playing arcade mode. The entire game runs flawlessly prior to the ending sequence, but once this one plays and is finished, the black screen comes on and then nothing budges.

    System specs

    Dell Dimension 3000
    2.4 GHZ
Intel 828g chipset (very crappy MoBo chipset)
    256 mb RAM

    Plugins being used

    Video: Pete's DX6 D3D v.177
    Audio: epsxe core
    cdrom: SaPu's 1.0

Any help will be much apprecited, thx in advance for your time.

You probably need more ram, and try a 'soft' video plugin as intel video chips don't support 3D acceleration and probably can't handle directx.

    uhmm...off-topic question.

Your gonna play an arcade game via keyboard?..How do you that exactly - performing combos and such?

actually my intel video driver (extreme Graphics 2) Has Direct X 9.0 and supports direct 3d as well as OpenGL (this even though it doesn,t run anything that's openGl based properly).

I'll see what i can do about the Ram. honnestly though, I'm no expert but I think the prob lies elsewhere. A lenghty goolge search has revealed that I'm not the only one with this prob, and seeing the system specs of those who've reported it, these have dedicated graphic cards for the most part.

From what I read it may have something to do with accurate cdrom timing and parameters overwrite. I've tried adding the "-adjusttiming" command, but this hasn't yielded anything.

And to answer XD9999's question, i'm using a USB gamepad, it's a must to fully appreicate emulation ;). you can get a very decent dual analogued controller for under 20$, so look it up, it's definitely worth having :).
