ePSXe 1.7.0 - Sound Plugin Config: What do YOU do and when the poo hits the fan?

    I'm new to the RomUlation Nation, so for you more experienced folk (which I'm sure is almost everybody), I was wondering what sound plugin configuration you guys go for FIRST when you encounter a game that has:

    1. Missing Music or SFX
    2. Skipping Audio Tracks
    3. Crackling Noise during CG cutscenes

    I'm using epsxe 1.7.0, Eternal SPU Plugins 1.41 & 1.41 lite; and I play using ISO's

    Keep in mind, I'm aware that each game is different and what works for one may not work for others. I just wanna develop a good troubleshooting method.

    Try the ePSXe Core SPU 1.7.0, it's fairly good.

    Some games just don't work well with sound, regardless of settings.
