Enjoying the Forum: A guide for noobs by long time active members

Let's think up a sort of guide for newbies so they can enjoy more RomUlation's Forum, but let's make 'em fun to read like:

1. Always have a dictionary near your computer as you engage in posting in the various threads as proper english is strictly enforced

2. Since you can't say any Above PG-13 thing on the Forum, like cursing or obsceneties, use euphemisms instead.

3. Don't pay attention to people's Avatars & sigs, they're just an expression of their ideas & definitely are not who they are on the inside.

4. Remember, you are posting on a Forum, not sending an SMS message, so use the correct spelling & such.

 

5.Have a dictionary before you read rule 2

 

6) read rule 2 to make sure that you need to make sure you have a dictionary
7) don't annoy the mods: believe me, its SCARY (no sarcasm at all here, i got sh** scared when almo and solus told me off for making bad posts :S... just hope i dont get in trouble for saying this!!)

 

8.Congratulate everyone on achievements... CONGRATS TO CAHOS FOR 1000th post

 

9, Respect other posters: Even if there's this jerk you really want to.... avoid

17) READ THE RULES
i cant stress this enough, you can get in some deep sh** if you don't!!

 

18. If you're just loitering on the Forum (like I do when everything's too quiet), go do something else like view videos on YouTube or play an MMORPG for a while, then come back, if it's still too quiet, repeat what I suggested ;D

 

19) Always participate in Almo's GFX section, anyone who avoids this particular rule will receive a high explosive device in their letterbox, leading to a loss of limbs.

27. Don't be demmanding, never post things like "HEY HELP ME" or the most annoying "Please give me (name of un-dumped ROM or name of NDS ROM)"

28. About rule 23, don't be afraid or ashamed if your post fails, maybe people just don't get your drift, I should know, I've made several Caves

29. Don't go into the Games, Jokes & Random Section as people can get away with bad stuff here.
