England didn't deserve to win, that much is clear to anyone that watched the game.
Sometimes though the best team doesn't win and if the ref had given lampards goal it could have turned the game, it was a clear goal and should have been given.
Ive just seen on the news the referee was banned for 6 months and missed the last world cup due to "irregularities". Obviously he shouldn't be refereeing at the top level

 

I think it runs a little deeper than that...
