I don't know if you guys know this, but there are some DVD players here in Asia that has a sort of Emulator capability. You can play NES games on some DVD players by loading a DVD (or CD ROM, I'm unsure as to what format the games were on) disc onto the player & playing the games straight from the player. These players come with gamepads too. Now, I posted this thread because I want to ask if you guys know the machinations of these DVD player emulators, because I would like to give my relatives who have this "emulator" a better selection of games, as the game disc they use contain lame ROM Hacked/edited titles that suck. I wanted to give them better titles like the Megaman games or Some of the translated stuff that I got. Also, I was wondering if there were other emulators for DVD players that play SNES &/or GBA games, as games for those systems are more interesting anyway.
are you sure it's not something like the philips CDi? not actually an emulator but a DVD/games console device.
I'm quite unsure, I'll SMS them later & ask if that's what they have. Anyway loony does that mean I can't make a game disc for them, if it were something like a philips CDi?
It means you would have to burn CD-i games for them. there weren't all that many. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD-i
Ulp! That article said I need to do some programming, & me with no programming skill, I guess they'll have to make do with the games they have :-[
