Emulators and Roms are confusing me..

I went and got a snes emulator from emulator-zone like this website suggested, but then none of the games you download here work on that emulator. where can i get a snes emulator that can support the games from this site? or am i doing something wrong?

It is compatible with many types of the SNES roms and most of them I believe if not all.

 

ok i downloaded it, but it says i wont be able to hear and effects or music or anything

I don't use emulators on my computer.

I either use my PSP, DS, or Wii...so I'm not sure what's up with this version of the emulator, but you should be able to use sound...I'll check it out.

 

its not even just sound now though. the roms from this website do not work on either of the snes emulators i have....

 

Try ZSNES then.

Are the roms named like Kirby Super Star.smc?

 

no. the ones from this site are .7z

 

download winrar and extract the file from the .7zip file

The roms work fine with ZSNES once you extract them.

 

ok so i need to get winrar. i went to this site that that guy gave me. which one do i use? does trial mean its only temporary?

Right click on the 7z file and hit extract to or extract here.

Get the file with the [!] in it.
You can throw the rest away.

 

there is no extract thing. the only thing different now is its says READ
