I was thinking of downloading an emulater I am new to emulation for Gamecube and I wanted to ask a few things.

    1. Does the Gamecube Emulater need a Controller
    2. IS the Emulater Program "Dolphin" a good emulater
    3. Can I play the ROMS on the keybord? :-\ ???

Refer to this thread for more Gamecube FAQ.

    1. Depend on which emulator you use,
you can play it either using a Controller, or Keyboard.
Just configure it first on the Config.

    2. Yes, it's considered the best available GC emulator, since it can emulate most GC games.
Refer to the game compatibility section at the main site.

    3. Of course.

You don't need a controller to use emulators. It is helpful though.

You will just have to use your keyboard (clunky depending on the game).

    No unfortunatly.

There are action reply disc and iso's for gamecube, but I don't think the emulator can let you switch iso's...well even if it does the compatibility listing shows they aren't ready to even work (I tried :( )

Also I hope your pc has enough power to run dolphin, it needs some grunt to work.

Anywhere you want, really. You'll just choose "Open" and go to the place you have the ISO.

Or you can create a specific folder for all your Gamecube isos and go into the configuration of Dolphin and tell it that directory, it will automatically find all the gamecube ISOs and list them on the main window of the program, waiting for you to select them.

It will be easier for you to start games:
