Does anyone other than me still play the older games still.

I mean like pokemon red/blue/yellow, gta 1, Shining Force and the old mario games.

I'm to young to have been around when the era of nintendo came out so I'm enjoying some of the oldies(not nessesarily all nintendo games though) and I play them somethimes alot more than the newer ones.

    So that is my question.
Note: I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a topic similiar to this, I searched classic games and nothing(the same) came up. I'm suprised there hasn't been a topic like this if I'm right.

Of course, playing older games is always fun, I usually play some SNES classics, like Chrono Trigger, FFVI, FFIV, Evo, Earthbound, Bahamut Lagoon etc.

Me posting on this thread says it all for I AM the FamiCom Guru! ;D

Really, I too feel that the classics are Eons better than these new games are (in terms of replayability & fun factor of course). And with more Japanese oldies being translated, there's more reason to love the old gems even more :D

I've got a real SNES and NES :p Hehe. What about GTA for DOS. Also, Space Invaders is always amusing. Oh and Duke Nukem is coming to DS and PSP. I also like the old pokemon games and Mario games on SNES etc.

The only thing I play is old games. Well, some PC games, Soldat, Liero, Maplestory, Warcraft III and (dare I say it), Runescape. Yep, I'm not graphic spoiled as you can tell.

In my opinion the two most boring games, but whatever floats your boat... Much like the only Final Fantasy I ever played on the ps1, I think it may have been 4...
