Hello, I use EDGE 2.3 and have a 8GB micro sd card. Everything was just fine until I decided to put Pokemon Black 2 on it. The EDGE freezed at "loading" (while loading the rom, with no cheats). and now I lost everything. The space they occupy on the SD card still exists, with 4GB remaining, however when you open the sd card in windows explorer, it appears to be blank. Did I lose my games? Is there a way to recover them?
On a computer if you delete a file it just marks the space it took as empty without actually wiping the space to save time You can recover the data But only if you haven't already overwritten it by copying something else onto the storage You say that its still taking up the same amount of room though ? try looking at it in linux maybe windows isn't reading it properly (it takes 10 minutes to create a boot able linux usb) And I don't know why but the file system might be messed up somehow Either way you Can recover the data using free tools available as long as nothing has overwritten it
