edge.dat no found?

Hi my edge stopped working because it says edge.dat isnt found. Theres already a edge.dat in the folder and its not in any folder. my edge.dat is in the root. Please help me.

 

Backup your files, format your MicroSD, and put the latest firmware on your MicroSD.

 

I did all this already still no work.

 

Try a different MicroSD.
Or your MicroSD may not be making good contact with your flashcart.

 

i just tried with another micro sd and it still says the same thing

 

When you formatted your MicroSD did you choose FAT/FAT32?
On the Root of your MicroSD, there should be a folder and a file. EDGE.DAT (file) and EDGE (folder). They have to be on the root, not in any folder.

 

i formatted on FAT32. and my MicroSD only has EDGE.DAT and Folder with Cheats.Dat in it. And my edge.dat isnt in a folder
