would government owned stores be a good idea?

if the u.s. government had its own verion of walmart they would be making alot of money around the clock which in turn would lower taxes, possiably create jobs(depends on how much power the government has in the markets), keep stable prices(again government power), and by looking at sells reports the government would know how much to produce so that money isn't wasted.
only bad part i see is the government would be stronger and more compitition for manufacturers.

    your thoughts?

    Government owned anything?

    COMMIES.

We used to run them out of the country and kill them, lets keep it that way so they don't turn the impressionable kids into homosexuals.

It would be a mixed economy. And its a good thing! There are 2 types of economy, 1 is capitalist, and 1 is socialist-communist...

if the government doesn't own anything, then its a capitalist, and if everything is owned by the government, it will be a socialist-communist. but if we merge the 2, then its a mixed economy.

Its not good to be just one, it should be mixed, the good of capitalism and the good of communism
