???can any of you tell this old noobie how to read ebooks/pdfs on his daughters nds???

I guess it depends on the flashcart you're using.

 

I'm using the r4 card with a 2gig chip???? is that right or should it be the other way round

It's no fun reading ebooks on a DS. The text is just too small. Normal pages of A4 become difficult to process.

 

ok i'm one step forward...have found and installed Readmore Alpha....runs the tutorial fine but wont load .txt file that have been converted...cant find them...what have I done wrong??

 

What do you mean you can't find them? In which application/menu? Just use Moonshell to read those .txt files.

Remember, there is no proper .pdf handling application for the DS.

I had that same problem. I couldn't find the ebooks until I made a folder called DATA states on the root of my sd card. This is what saves your place when you turn the ds off. Hope this helps.

 

I gave up trying to do the exact same thing. No PDF support is frustrating . I just stick to DSReader and .txt files now.
