Hi, could anyone please help me out here? I am trying to understand how to download and install ebooks for my wifes R4 card! Firstly where do I download these ebooks from and in which file format should they be in to work on the R4 card? Do I then simply drag and drop the ebook as I do for the ds roms? I have spent ages surfing the net looking for this info, all to no avail, hope someone can shed some light on this as the other half is an avid book worm and it would make her day, plus I score some brownie points! Ta very much.
For any flash card including R4, you need Moonshell or DS Organise. Moonshell would be better as I read on the web that sometimes DS Organise gives problems. Then, simply drag and drop any .txt file. Use Moonshell or DS Organise to open the .txt files. Someone mentioned that both DS Organise and the M3 Extend firmware can display simple HTML files - how true it is I don't know. Both Moonshell or DS Organise also have other functions such as playing music .mp3 files. Same thing,drag and drop mp3 files and use Moonshell or DS Organise to open the mp3 files. DS Organise has more organiser function and wifi connectivity. Moonshell can play videos in .dpg format and has a picture viewer (reads .jpg and other formats). There are a lot of freeware ebooks on the web, just find on the search engine.
