Easy Pokewalker steps?

I have a Pokewalker with a Latias in Hoenn Field. I'm trying to get a Skitty, but that costs 10 watts, and requires 7500 steps. I have plenty of watts, but I need thousands more steps. Is there any way to get them easily?

    Thanks for answers.

There are two great methods on UGO or whatever that I can't do. One, I don't have a box fan. Two, my cats (I don't have a dog) take off their collars all the time, so they might damage the Pokewalker in the process of getting it off.

One option is to sit there shaking it.
The other is to actually use it for it's intended purpose. Go for a walk or something.

I heard you can do with magnets

You could just strap it to the back of your hand while you spend your nights doing what every teenage male does... For the average teen male that's gotta be a lot of free steps.

I heard they made it so shaking it wouldn't work

You GOTTA let me know how to do that.

That's true. It's not a regular pedometer with a ball/weight/whatchamacallit inside, it has an accelerometer. It was made like that from the beginning.

Or maybe hold it with your hand while mimicking the walking motion (using said hand) but faster. Like up, hard down, up, hard down (hehe)
    Does that even work?

I don't have a strap to do that with anyway.

UPDATE: I just "probed" my cat with the Pokewalker. Not as effective as it could be, but still effective.

Tape pokewalker to record player, make thing spin.
    Tape pokewalker to cat's tail.
Make someone else use the pokewalker for you.

at one point a school was giving them out to encourage pupils to be more active, until they discovered the pupils were attaching them to their dog's collars.

Shaking it worked for me. I don't have a pokewalker though, so I can't explain how you do it.
