Easy Boss or Hard Boss

Lets see...
You are on an Island. Simple, eh?
You own a katana and some ninja stars. And a mask.
Slashing through some demons and undead.
Saving bunch of top-heavy ladies (120-60-90)
Collecting some useless stuff.
And finally you see a cut-scene and a checkpoint mark.
ITS A BOSS!

Now, would you prefer an easy boss, like "You got it this far,I will be easy on you" or "Fcuk you! You came too far! Prepare to die!".

I say it depends on the game. If the gameplay is fluid and easy to master, I choose Hard becouse it will be more challenging and fun. But if the gameplay is awful and its hard to even control the guy, I will choose easy for not to die and die again.

Well, I'm pretty much a casual gamer and easily bored and often left off unfinished games if the story is too boring or requires too much grinding/mastery at some point of the game. I really hate RPGs that requires you to do lots of grinding, a sudden leap in enemy difficulty is one of that reasons. A game is fine if it offers sidequests that helps you adapt through the storyline.

Anyway, I prefer a normal to easy difficulty bosses with an option to fight it later at a much higher difficulty. I usually want to advance the storyline fast. [abbr=The World Ends with You]TWEWY[/abbr] has a great environment for this.

 

i go with hard, simpily becuse i hate it when a boss fight is less then 30 secs, i want a CHALLANGE!

 

I like variations. Like you could have an easy but a boss that requires a little bit of thinking to defeat. And then you could have hard bosses in the game as well. Changes the pace of the game every once in a while

 

i'd more boss with unusual way to kill, like in Zelda game
example: reflect their attack to make them immobilized , than attack it, and finish them off with cinematic-button pressing like in god of war

 

I prefer hard bosses.
If the boss is easy,why bother put a boss in the game in the first place?

if its not hard, its not a boss fight..... so hard.

 

I say hard but do-able with a checkpoint to verse the same boss instantly after death (which probably will happen)

Easy bosses are just...meh... What's the point in having them at all, if it takes no effort to kill them?

What does this even mean?

Hard boss unless it's near the starting of them game, the challenge in games should ramp up every level.

 

He is trying to say some games that have hard bosses.

i you what really hard bosses try the Gradius series.

 

I've only played Gradius III on the SNES.
That game was hard!
I'm not sure if I've even reached the 3rd boss...

yeah if you have, hes a hard ass boss (but if you know his patern you can beat him)
