I am typing this post in the Dvorak keyboard layout.

    This is frustrating.

Does anyone use, or has anyone tried, Dvorak?

It's a stupid idea. Just a small group of people trying to be different.
I personally have no issues with the QWERTY keyboard.

It's also a stupid name, because Dvorak is an amazing composer, he composed Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" in E Minor. What's more annoying is that the second movement was used in the Hovis advert, and so everybody knows just that little snippet, so that's a real injustice to the piece.
Also, I agree with you TirithRR, there's nothing wrong with QWERTY

DVORAK is named after the person who designed it, John. C. Dvorak. Its supposed to be easier to type on when you get used to it. Qwerty was not designed to be easy to type on, but rather to separate letters frequently used together. This is from the days of mechanical typewriters, when frequently using two letters next to each other led to the print heads jamming.

You seem like a very informed individual. I respect you.

You mean August Dvorak. Who in fact, weterr123, is distantly related to Antonín Dvořák.

I really don't see what's so bad about it. Especially if you've never tried it before. Fear of change!

I can type decently with Dvorak now. I'm typing most of my posts with it.

But that doesn't mean you have to call Dvorak terrible.
