Hey guys. Got a small problem here. You i burned my whole collection of game isos onto rewritable dvds with my samsung writemaster drive, but that things blown now. So i went and bought a new drive, a liteon 20x, but now this drive doesnt read the dvdrws. i tried the dvds on my friends drive and it works fine. also the manual for the liteon drive says it can read dvdrws, i used nero 7.0.4 to write those disks. can anyone help me.
Are they plus RW or minus RW? check that then check the drive can read that specific type of RW. If it can install nero and inCD reader, and if that doesnt make any difference then your new drive may be faulty.
ive checked that, and its minus rw 4x, which is supported according to the manual. i just wrote a rw disk,the same type as the others, to test the drive. it burnt the disk and the drive can read the disk. could this be a firmware or format problem?
