Ok, i was burning an PS2 iso into a dvd-r and it does load but can't continue after i start a new game. Even the LOTR one just when to the opening scene with some gibberish words spinning... it loaded up to the start screen but it kinda hangs or make the songs slow and like wreck up... I think its because i burned it on a dvd-r instead of a dvd+r... i used the dvd-r cause i'm worried about my dvd+r dvds.... they have the rw sign... I know the difference between a dvd+r and a dvd+rw but what is a dvd+r with a separate rw on it? I tried to burn the iso on that dvd+r with the rw and my modded ps2 can't read the dvd... I can produce a pic if you want if you are confused.
Most of the DVD-R sold here has those RW... here's what i bought.... its dvd+r but it also have a RW on its surface: http://www.cdrking.com/?mod=products&type=view&sid=4953&main=23 Does that mean its a DVD+RW? Cause i thought this were those DVD+RW are: http://www.cdrking.com/?mod=products&type=view&sid=5147&main=23 Here are the selections that I can buy: http://www.cdrking.com/?mod=products&type=category&catid=23&main=23 If you're asking why i buy them there, simple, i buy in bulk and they sell them there cheap.
I've always used DVD-Rs, they might work better. I don't see RW on the surface of the first disc you linked, but if it has RW on it then assume its an RW.
Its on the top-right corner/side... with the color blue with letter... it has RW written. I assumed that dvd is a DVD+R and the RW on top means it can additionally written if there is extra space. A DVD+RW means the data already inside it can be deleted and re-written over it, right? Well, it tried that first but the problem is it hangs when i start a new game... my failed attempts were COD 2 and 3, shadow of rome, dynasty warriors 5 and LOTR 3rd age... I successfully burned shadow of rome and dynasty warriors 5 on a DVD+R after i found an extra 2 dvds on my case. those 2 dvd+R doesn;t have that extra RW.... My problem now is where to find those same dvd's cause i forgot where i bought them in the first place...
