duke nukem advance on an easy flash 3in1 card, will cheat codes still work?

If I put duke nukem advance on an easy flash 3in1 card and play it on my ds light, would the cheat codes that are built into the game still work? I understand the game would be running in an emulator format and not the original game cartage or gba hand held. I know the action replay codes or game shark codes work on the PC gba emulator.
