DSTT,N5 Or R4DS?

Please guys I want somebody to tell me witch card of those: DSTT,N5 Or R4DS? is best for playing rom games
witch one that its flash card card get corrupted after playing roms cople of times

is it possible to save game in nintendo DS console not in the flash card?

u can get dstt not bad with recent firmware update the same can be say about r4 but dsstt can support sdhc that means more than 4gb but currently almost every flash cart that supports sdhc canot handle more than 2gb with rom occupying the whole micro sd just freezes the ds lol either each of them has their own pros and cons but dstt would be the better one you can check it out on gbatemp.net for reviews.^_^

It has virtual memory, but that's it. DSTT is probably better than R4 a bit.

 

Yeah and also the some DSTTs have a expansion pak and a rumble pak also......

 

i have a r4 and it works really well, so if i had to choose i would get the r4. The thing is there are a lot of fakes so you have to purchase from www.gameyeeeah.com

 

thats not true, i've got a 4gb mc filled to the last 30mb (for saves) and it never freezes up on me. i've been using it for the past 2 months on the edge cart and also on the dstt for the last few weeks with the latest firmware. i must say the dstt latest firmware really helped with the slow gui on the main screen when scrolling titles. it was a real pain before but now better not as good as edge but better. the dstt does have a problem with the soft reset, if you do too many in a row it freezes but with the edge it's never happen. if you have a few extra bucks go for the edge cart but the dstt is really cheap at dx.

 

Soft reset should only be used once at a time..

i have N5 which is not fake
but my work well with all games and i can put a lot of cheat in there

 

It would be pointless to make a fake N5, when the real thing can brick and shortcircuit.

 

uh yeah, what i meant was i would get into a game not like it, do a soft reset try another game not like it and do another soft reset and so on. and sometimes if i did that a few times the dstt would freeze on me and the edge never did. but sometimes even during the first soft reset the dstt would freeze on me. but for the price u get a dstt for its totally worth it. i actually got it when it was double what it is now and i still thought it was worth it even though u only get 1 theme and the freezing sometimes even in game.

i'd stay away from the N5, they actually have directions on a site that sells them on how to fix the fuse if it gets blown. that should show how many fuses got messed up with that card. that was pretty scary cause i had thought what was good about flash carts was they couldn't brick your dstt like when we have to flash our psp.

lol, yeah i kinda figured thats what you meant. i guess i never considered it sounding like that cause i never would think someone would do that. thats sounds like a sure fire way to screw up the soft reset lol.

You should get a Cyclo. They have SO MANY FEATURES!

well, i got the R4 III, a clone of the R4, and i like it, it seems to support more games than the real R4 now (tried the games the others were saying there r4 didn't support and mine worked normally), the team used to update the firmware every week or 2, but now since the release of games has become much slower, they update slower, i just hope they add some cool kick ass features!, oh and is it possible to make a theme like a animated .GIF or .PNG.
