    Download your new firmware files.
    Delete the old firmware files.
Put the new ones on your card.

They are on your MicroSD card. The card you plug into your PC every time you have to put a new game on.

    Here is my tip...

If your games are in a folder you made (ds games-like mine) just remove that folder...

and delete the whole card-then ram in the firmware files.

    then the games...if not.

Locate all .nds and .SAV files and save them somewhere on your pc.

Replace with new firmware-then put back the roms and thier sav files.

Because you need new firmware to run them.

Extract the archive, take all of the separate files and folders and overwrite your previous ones on the MicroSD, there will be a prompt.

I updated my firmware the other day on the DSTT card

I had 3 main sections on my MicroSD when it is in file mode on the PC.

These were Games, TT Menu (file folder), TT Menu (Video CD Movie)

I downloaded the new firmware as advised on this forum

    https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=22731.0

then when downloaded open up the file and then open the english file within

you then can delete your existing TTMenu both types and copy on to your Memory card the 2 new files from within the file you have downloaded.

I would back up the original ones on the pc/lappy just incase but mine has worked fine and allowed newer games to work.

hope this is what you are after
