DSTT Card technical help!

    ok i have a dstt card (original) and i know they dont bother updating the firmware, i just wanted to check a few things before i did anything.

    does the unofficial 1.17.07a firmware mess up the card or my ds and is it reliable?

    are any other firmware cross compatible with it? (e.g can i use r4 firmware on dstt card)

    is there an auto-patch system on it? to fix things like where's wally (I'm from uk so it will be called where's waldo on here)

    and last thing on the dstti there is a real/fake spotter thing on it, anti-fake something or another not sure whats it called, tells you if it's real or not, is there one for the dstt for the lite?
