DSTT and DSTT advance

    What is this DSTT advance card- my sister in law has one but I've never heard of them. Are they an update of the DSTT cards? Will DSTT software work on them or do they have their own?

    Yes you do need software, but they call it kernal or firmware is anuther word for it

    The updated firmware you can download them from hear, and they update them every so-often

    The files have to go on your MicroSD chip , for the TTDS card to work on your DS

    EDIT: mabe the abouth like might be better for bigginers ^ what SoulRunner mentiond

    DSTT Advanced is a clone of the DSTT. I'm not sure if the DSTT firmware will work on them, the DSTT firmware has a "fakekiller" in it that disables the clones.

    You can get the firmware for the DSTT Advanced from the site SoulRunner linked, or from http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/

    Yes, if you use DSTT Firmware in a DSTT clone, it'll brick your DSTTClone. It can also brick your DS!

    Only the firmware with the fakekiller code (updated 1.16 and up). And there's always the FakeRecovery tool.
