I am currently using DSOrganizer with my R4 firmware 1.18. Well, when i use IRC for about 10 minutes i get an error.

"Fatal Error! DsOrganize has run out of free file handles" Anyone know why this is happening?

File handles are basically connections that the CPU uses internally to allow programs to use files. (You can view the number of handles being used on your computer by opening the Task Manager, under the Preformance tab)

Probably doing too much stuff, and the DS is running out of resources.

Is there a way in which I could use other programs like AIM and MSN on DSOrganize, someone told me it is possible.

Basically use external homebrew applications for those. Can either load them from the firmware, or from DSOrganize. The DS shouldn't run out of vram, DSOrganize manually clears dma cache and updates oam every few seconds, which is why it's quite optimized. It shouldn't happen though.

I got one of the older versions 3.1229 and it works much better. No more fatal errors now.

You had used 3.2? It's not advised to, since 3.2 was the buggiest version. 3.1129 was the most stable.
