DSi XL, New Flash card?

've ordered a DSI XL, I currently have an R4, but it's an old one, not firmware 1.4 compatable, so I'm going to get a new one. was going to get a new 1.4 compatable R4i, but being as R4 seems to be a bit backward when it comes to running the newer games, I wondered wether an Acekard or M3 might be a better purchase.
are the other cards compatrable with the DSI XL, and what card would you reccomend I get? thanks in advance for your suggestions, views and comments etc
