DSi Stops all Flashcarts from working

So is there a way of bringing out a new system for the affected flash carts to allow us to use the flashcarts or is this the end for the likes of the R4 and M3 etc?

 

Old news. That article is dates for November of last year.

There are new flashcarts, like the Acekard2i, that are designed for the DSi.

 

I see. So I assume it works in exactly the same way as something like an M3 does now then?

 

Ya, they are pretty much exactly the same, infact I think the acekard2 and the acekard2i use the same firmware.

There are internal hardware changes, etc. Unnecessary to know details.

I'll need to find a way of buying one that can be sent to the UK ¬_¬, my DSlite is dieing and I'ma get a DSi to replace but I need a new flash cart to go with.
