dsi games

    are dsi games solely for dsi or do they work on ds lite. noticed games appearing with lots more numbers in the download section.... Thank you...

    DSi Ware games won't work on any DSi other than the one they downloaded on, so they don't work on the DSLite/Phat.

    Games with DSi "enhanced" features so far do work on DS Lite/Phat, without the features of the DSi of course. But so far I have heard that DS Flashcarts have had issues playing them (but no$gba 2.6a works fine).

    no they don't. DSi enhanced games do, DSi specific games don't.

    I don't think any DSi-specific games have been dumped yet, anyway.

    So the DSi roms I've seen in this other romsite are not DSi games?

    As far as I know, all DSi releases to date have either been DSiWare or DSi enhanced games.

    Enhanced versions are renamed as .nds to be able to be read by devices/emulators. DSi-exclusive should have .dsi. Always check the .nfo file for more information.
