well i got some neat homebrew apps for ds now... but now comes the technical things... (grab coffee, Tea, Pop Corn, Chocolate Sunday, and a Spouse because its a long way down the list ^^) DsHobro I wanted to use DsHobro 0.3 for browsing on my ds. From a remote network (internet) i started the server, and the port was 666. and i chose remote access thing and then it gave me a key i put in the key. i use Remote network and i gave in the key, it contacts Some I.p adress or such.. known as 1**.2**.*8.***:666 (removed just in case someone could access it when im using it). and then it keeps saying connection refused. From your local network it doesn't detect the server. Homebrew No.2 Win2DS i start the homebrew app. start Win2DS application (pc) three options. -Auto connect -Manual Connect -about Auto Connect i leave the I.p as 192.168.001.062 i put in the password i put for the app. it says Connection Status waiting... (20 min later) Connection status Waiting... Manual Connect it asks me for i.ps and DNS and stuff Ds ip. 192.168.001.060 i put in my router defualt ip adress(Gateway Address) Primary Dns Secounday DNS and my subnet mask. a list of routers and their SSID comes up i choose mine (NETGEAR1) i put in WEP code thingi. Connection Status Waiting... (7 min later) Connection Status Waiting... Beup live 0.3e Starting Connection Connected to the MSN dispatch server Doing handshake... Finished handshake... Asking for auth token Transferred to another sever. Doing Handshake... Finished handshake. Asking for auth token... Got it. Connecting to Passport Server. Done. Authenticating... (takes about ~6 secs) SSL connect failed. Authentication failed Thanks.. if you need extra info ill be slouching around somewhere.
i fixed up the DS Hobro, i strengthened my firewall toooo much, stealth (block all incoming access) and so much more, now i try other programs.. and modify this reply win2ds doesnt work still Beup live doesnt work still
Are you using a router of any kind? and has port forwarding been set up to make sure that none of the ports you are using (i.e. 666) are not being blocked by the router? this may not be the problem but it always helps to forward ports properly.
i fixed up the port... im using a specific one now.. dshobro works the other 2 don't but Win2ds allows you to take control of your computer.
