Hi I just found out a problem with my ak2i & ds xl my AK2i's firmware is AKAIO 1.7 i tried playing it on my xl but it froze randomly in most of my games, and sometimes the dsxl won't read it, is it a firmware bug? because i never had a problem with the previous firmware.
My guess for the freezing is the games. What were they-prehaps they have anti piracy protection/bad patching. As for the dsixl not reading, check for dust in the connector.
I think it's actually a physical issue. There have been quite a few people who say that their AK2i is a bit loose in their XL, and the card might not be making proper contact. Try putting a couple of layers of paper in with your card (on the label side of your card) leaving some of it sticking out of the slot so you can get hold of it. That should push the contacts on the card against the contacts in the slot.
Hey about the ak & dsxl: its not the dsxl only i have a regular dsi and it freezes randomly as well so should i downgrade from akaio 1.7 to 1.6?
