Firstly, please don't use all caps. Secondly, are you using the same charger.
thirdly is it a ds or dsi?

the battery reads 3.84 I think it should be 6.5 but I am have trouble charging it becuase the charge light does not stay on. and I have used 3 different chargers. I was just wondering is a game I downloaded fried my DS?

The game wouldn't have done that.

Try a different battery (take the one from the other DS). If it works, then the battery needs to be replaced.

OK that's a good idea but both of my DS's are doing the same thing they won't light up, to charge all it does is blink red and then goes off. That's why I am wondering if the R4i had something to do with it I just can't figure it out. Now I will be afraid to download games. I think I am going to have to buy a new DS lite

Oh, I thought it was doing it just on one.

What flashcart are you using? There has been at least one that has been known to blow a fuse in the DS and cause it to no longer work. (The N5, it uses too much power).

I have several and they were all working I just added a couple of games and then both DS's wouldn't work and I do have alot of games on them and of course this has never happen before I was just hoping if someone else had this problem they could help One is mine and one is my granddaughters who is 8 my grandson thinks I burnt something and I think he may be right Its just hard to believe that a game would do that

I did read somewhere that this guy bought a fake flashcart and it started smoking.
Maybe your flashcart is fake and it destroyed your DS battery.

Thanks for telling me it can't be the software, but I just can't figure out why this happened to 2 DS's and I have been using the same r4i I just added games so you can see why I thought it could be a game. Thank You

Try bying a new batteri - they don'c cost much - and see if that helps.

I think the fuse in your ds (or something like that) is damaged :)

I still think it's the battery and not the ds it's self.

Just borrow an alternitive battery for the moment from a friend if you can.
