[DS] The Side Scrooling Thread

    OKAY so, im a quite fan of side scroll games,such as castlevania,metroid,mario,megaman(not much but still awesome),contra, and lots of those games.

    so... let us list the Side Scrolling games and give them scores.(also i want to know good side scrooling games too,want to play those)

    all of those co-op side scrollers were awesome, I liked Streets of Rage 2 best

    Also Alien hominid on ps2.

    Its scrolling so why not? :p

    The Bonk games comes to mind as a favorite retro side scroller I played quite often.

    I have no idea of another Side-scrolling game besides these ones lol.

    Claymore DS is one... but I heard its a pretty bad game >_>

    yay then, Touhou Project makes my list, easily owning Metal Slug

    Practically every Mario is good, excluding the Doki Doki Panic hack that's known as Mario 2 USA.

    The Mega Man games are also superb (Classic, X, Zero, and ZX [not Advent; it sucked]), and every 2-D Castlevania since Symphony of the Night is for the most part stellar.

    Yoshi's Island and Donkey Kong Country 2 are the pinnacle of platforming quality...

    Yoshi's island has a strange style of gameplay.
    Some like it, some don't.

    Yoshi's Island was awesome
    it was like a shooter but side scrolling
    and with Baby Mario
    that game was awesome
