THIS. DEFINITELY THIS. Lock's Quest is fun, but it's kind of a tower defense game. The game mechanics are awesome, though, and it's a good challenge. There's not a big whole story to it, but it's really compellng. Knights in the Nightmare is extremely fun, but it's got a manditory tutorial that I hear is an hour long (It doesn't feel that long, though. And if you disagree with it being manditory, try to tell that to someone who played the game and couldn't click start game until the tutorial was done). The story is top notch, though. Something you'd expect from Atlus. The game has a steep difficulty curve, though.
Advance Wars is Turn Based you do know that?... The Age of Empires/Mythology Games in the DS ARE Turn-Based... -Lego Battles You can mix and match your units for Custom Maps -Robocalypse Alot of people recommend it. Has a cheesy cartoony artstyle though.
Age of mythology/empires are RTS Post Merge: [time]1295738952[/time] Wow, knights in the nightmare's tutorial made me rage quit lol. I'm sorry, might try it later. Loving Revenant Wings however!
It does take quite a while to get into (with the insane tutorial and confusing intro); but after the 15th Chapter or so you begin to realise how deep a game it really is. Spend a bit of time on it and you won't regret it.
So this is a RTS then? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qn2v2LE01M0 (Age of Mythology - DS Port) Last I remember RTS' don't put players fighting by taking TURNS
Yeah. Consider that tutorial. The demo of the game that was on the Nintendo Channel featured only the entire tutorial, nothing else. Now, think of the pain you'd feel if you tried it on the NC after it was out, and loved it so much you downloaded it, only to find you have to go through the same hour-long tutorial again. That's rage-quit worthy. EDIT: Even worse, I went through that. I stayed with it. Then my micro sd corrupted and I had to reformat it and lost it (I had forgot to back up my saves). I forgot to get the game again. Now that i want to play again, I remember how to play but I'll have to go through that friggen tutorial again. *Sigh, rage-quits*
Wow, what I meant with my last post is that Age of Mythology and Empires are RTS games in the pc version XD Which is why it's very disappointing why they made the port into a turn-based game -_-
dude... NINJATOWN!!! awesome RTS. very funny game with awesome soundtrack. though it does get ridiculously hard at one point
