DS Lite power light not turning on, any ideas on what this could be?

    Hello, my cousin has a DS Lite, and I noticed that his power light is not turning on. This is the light that turns green and then red when the battery is low. The DS powers on fine. Any ideas on what this could be and why, and what I can try to do to fix it?
