DS Lite Charging Problem

I have been troubled by my DS charging lights. There is nothing wrong with the performance of the system or the battery life, however when I charge the system the orange light comes on and stays on FOREVER!!! Its not really a big deal, as it still charges, I just thought there may be some simple solution that I could have overlooked.

Doesn't sound like anything out of the ordinary, both of my NDS systems (Phat & Lite) stay lit up for quite sometime when I charge them. never really timed the span it takes when you plug it up till the light goes out, but I assume its around 2 hours.

 

Nothings wrong... Mine could take up to 5 hours when I do empty battery..

Yup, the light went out after I left it on the charger a little bit longer
