[DS] Jagged Alliance - No Text?

No text showing up like on the AIM screen etc. Anyone get this working?

EDIT: Oh Im using DeSmuME.

 

Try using no$gba 2.6a or iDeaS etc. If I remember, it doesn't work all that well in no$gba either.

 

Same issue in iDeaS no$ doesnt even run - says it cant access the memory or something.

 

Change the save type?

 

I tried all of them. I just reset the emulator after changing right? I dont have to restart the program completely do I?

 

Yes, you do have to. When does this error occur?

 

In no$ it happens right when I start it up. Says "Save Data could not be accessed." I switched to each type, saved, closed it, and restarted.

 

Get 2.6a. It has a Auto save type function. I know myself that it works in no$gba 2.6a.

 

Oh thanks that did it. I thought I had a but it was just plain 2.6. BTW whats that 2.7 I see? Is it a fake?

EDIT: Oh its only works on the "room" screen but not on others like the recruitment screen. Meh this is turning into too much work.

 

2.6a is the latest official version, 2.7 is a fake unless the developer suddenly appeared after the months gone by and released it

 

So is it even possible to get this working completely?

 

no$gba has problems with the 3D rendering, and some times games use the 3D rendering for the Text display like in Final Fantasy 4.

You could try an addon like no$zoomer which fixes some of the 3D issues.

It's not the latest version, but it does fix some games with Text displaying problems, so maybe Jagged Alliance will be fixed by it.

Other than adjusting some settings in no$zoomer, I don't have an answer.

Must just be incompatible.
