ds freezing

My ds keeps freezing while play games and when i close my ds while its on for about 5 mins my game freezes as well im new to the ds homebrew front any help would be appreciated if this is an old problem i did search the forums but could not find it thank u

 

Update to the latest firmware for your microSD card, If it dose not already have it

how do u tell what firmware ur sd is using?

 

Its the card you have, sorry but not what i have

I have a R4 revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS) and firmware v1.18 is for it

The firmware has to match your card, Have a look at the lable on the card or box it came in , they sould be a direct adress on the box for your firmware, to get it from

Also they will have the latest for your card

However it should not freez anyway!

Mabe you could backup games and saves to your pc, do a full format and start again
