I know the swirl on the Dreamcast boot up is Orange for the US and Blue for Euro/Jap I was just wonder if there may be some kind of hack to where I can change the color of the swirl from Orange to Blue on a US system without doing a total bios or any other crazy stuff i'd have to change. I'd just like to change it just to be diffrent and watch my friends reaction (yeah i'm strange like that)

doubt it, the colour was changed in the bios for legal reasons I believe.

...if you download a hex editor it can be done really easily...change the flash.bin file...

    TRUST ME !

There is a guide on it, but all I remember is you change the numbers in part of the file, to make things easier it's near where the names of all the developers are (can't miss it the rest is normal numbers and rubbish I don't know)

something like "211 dreamcast" and it appears twice, change the first one to "121 dreamcast" and your set!

Only the first line though, but from the guide I read it's conflicted to change ethier both or just the first line...

Look up "changing dreamcast bios" on google, you might find the one I used...

BTW if you use an emulator which virtual drive you use, I tried daemon but needs an old version which won't work on vista, and alchol 53% can't do anything, I gave up on dreamcast emulation after that trouble....

It's optional to answer but thanks anyways...

(ps what I just gave out is if it's on your pc, otherwise I wouldn't know how to change it from the console it self)
