Drawn to Life Problem

Whenever I try to play this rom on my M3 slot 2 (with firmware 34a) it says

'Cannot read data.
turn off power and re-insert the game card.'

I got the rom from here if that makes a difference.
Would someone be able to tell me what the problem with this is?

Is the save type set to Flash 2MBit? That's the save type you need to get it running.
I had a couple of problems as it was set to something else, the game ran regardless and there were some interesting issues of disappearing images. If you have run it in a different save type I would advise setting it to Flash 2MBit and then, through your computer, deleting the save. This way you can start again.

If this isn't the problem... I am not sure. I have had no other issues with my card (DS-Linker).

Yes, but you will have to sort of the save type beforehand. Because it's such a new game it won't know before you tell it. I can't say for certain how to do it with your card, perhaps someone with it can help me out here, but there will be a way of doing it.

 

i am unsure of how to set save type with an m3 slot 2 device.
Could that arm7 thing be the problem?
If so, could a version with arm7 used be posted?
